WACO: THE RULES OF DECEPTION: THE MANUFACTURE AND DISTRIBUTION OF EXAGGERATED CLAIMS REGARDING THE WACO TRAGEDY.

The Big Texas Double-Dupe

By effectively using extreme left and right wing distrust of the FBI, a network of businessmen, attorneys and academics working with conservative, liberal and libertarian political operatives successfully duped the American media and public into believing the FBI murdered the Branch Davidians using direct fire weapons and by introducing fire into the cult’s compound.

  • The Double-Dupe: The 1999 discovery of pyrotechnics that wasn’t. “Researcher” Mike McNulty’s use of previously known information to open an investigation into the tragedy and how conservative media fanned the flames of anti-government hysteria in order to discredit Attorney General Janet Reno and the Clinton Administration.
  • Taking the bait: Lee Hancock and the Dallas Morning News.
  • Paul Beaver’s tactical “swamp gas expertise” and the Sixty Minutes II segment on the FLIR video allegedly demonstrating the FBI fired weapons at the Branch Davidians.
  • Dr. Emily Craig’s TEASING SECRETS FROM THE DEAD. What her forensic work reveals about the autopsies of the Branch Davidians, including David Koresh. The crucial information Lee Hancock and the Sixty Minutes II team among countless other news organizations missed.
  • The Tarrant County autopsy reports: Overlooked evidence. What the autopsy reports reveal about the murder-suicides of Branch Davidians by Branch Davidians.
  • How the attorneys for the Branch Davidians lost their entire case and each appeal up to and including the Supreme Court.
  • Why FBI agent Christopher Whitcomb (COLD ZERO) posed a problem Branch Davidian attorneys could not overcome in the civil trial.
